NFL Predictions: Week 16 Thursday Night Football

It's the penultimate week of the regular season and there are still a handful of playoff spots available in both conferences. There's a full programme of games on Christmas Eve, which will be fully previewed before kick off, but there's one Thursday night game this week before all that.

Houston (10-4) at Indianapolis (1-13)
Houston have already wrapped up the division handily, and with a number of injuries may decide to rest some of their big hitters. With a possible first week bye still to play for though, they will still need to take the now no longer winless Colts seriously. Dan Orlovsky led the Colts to their first win of the season on Sunday against the Titans, but there's a possibility that someone up top may want that to be the only win, in order to preserve the #1 Draft pick, with the Vikings and Rams also stinking the place up. With all that said, I'd still imagine the players to want to win, however, I feel that the Texans, even with a depleted squad, should still have enough.

Prediction: Houston 34 Indianapolis 17
